The LO I was inspired to create, from the Pottery Barn catalogue.
Here's how I was inspired by this catalogue.
I loved the title block on this catalogue page - bold colour block, with a monogram behind the sub-title / text. I created a dimensional version of this, using a technique I spotted Kim Arnold (thanks!) using - attaching alphas + word strips onto clear acetate & popping this on top of the monogram.
I love the strong lines & limited colour palette used in the catalogue, so I've gone with a very limited palette of greens, white & black type.
I also noticed ea of the photos in the catalogue had ever so slightly rounded corners. I love a rounded corner, so I ran with that idea too! |
