I have a question for fellow DTer Fran -

What die cut or punch or other magical tool do you use to create those gorgeous custom file tabs you use so well?

Like the tabs you used on this project:

I trace mine off a template

yeah... I tried that... but I prefer a nice, crisp die cut...:{ each time I try to even up the rounded corners I have to keep trimming the other side till there's nothing left!! LOL

Originally I had the Stampin Up! file tab punch - but then I found a file tab die for the Quickutz Squeeze tool die - and as I already had the squeeze tool it was a lot less space to have a tiny die than a punch. So thats what I have used in the album above - and I use it ALL the time!

But if I didn't have the Quickutz already the Stampin Up punch is great - it makes a more 'roundy' file tab but you can just cut across the bottom and it make a more 'normal' file tab - if you have one, or see one - you will know what I mean.

McGill also do a file tab punch (Ali Edwards uses this one) and it'd be my choice if I didn't have the Quickutz.
